Our Wedding

It was late June 2023, and like all great fairytale romances, we met on Hinge. After bonding over how hot a young Joe Biden truly was, we locked in the coveted second-date plans before we had even finished our pizza. It truly is just like everyone says—when you know, you know, and we knew by the fourth date. By the end of July we were officially "boyfriend/girlfriend," and by January of the next year we had moved into our first apartment in Harlem. Just us, one mini Labradoodle and FOUR cats. By July of 2024, after returning from a trip to Germany specifically to see the Eras tour, we found out that we were pregnant with our darling Clementine, who was born in April of 2025. Oooh, and we got engaged in March of 2025, less than a month before becoming first-time parents! We went to Club Beach at Lake Naomi on an absolutely freezing day to watch the sunset, and there, Austin got down on one knee and asked Sam a question that was nothing more than a formality, because, by that point, we had already been each other's family for what felt like forever. We view our wedding day as a chance to eat, drink, and be merry with everyone we love. It's a celebration of pure joy. And our only guiding principle for every decision we make about it is: Will this be fun? Which is exactly how we live every day together. Come have fun with us!

Friday Night:We are hosting a casual BBQ at The Mountaintop Lodge from 5-8pm. See you there! Ceremony:Please arrive by 5pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. The ceremony is being held outdoors (weather permitting) on a grassy area to the left of Club Beach at Lake Naomi Clubhouse. There is self-parking at the clubhouse. Reception:Cocktail hour and reception to immediately follow the ceremony. Afterparty:The afterparty with also be at the Lake Naomi Clubhouse from 11pm-1am.

Hotels:You have a few options for where you choose to stay over our wedding weekend. We have blocked out all of the rooms at <a href=" https://mountaintoplodge.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Mountaintop Lodge</a>. This boutique hotel is on the Lake Naomi property. If you book a room there, it will include passes to the Lake Naomi amenities. For a more economical stay, please book at the <a href="https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.39102.html?iata=00171880&amp;ssob=BLBWI0004G&amp;cid=BLBWI0004G:google:gmb:39102" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Best Western in Blakeslee, PA</a>. This hotel is 15 minutes from Lake Naomi. Additionally, <a href="https://thevillageatpocono.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Village</a> and <a href="https://www.kalahariresorts.com/pennsylvania/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kalahari</a> are also very close by. House Rentals:There are many wonderful houses to rent at Lake Naomi. Please feel free to book options through Airbnb or VRBO. There are several lake communities in the area, so just be sure that the house you're booking is actually at Lake Naomi. If you're not sure, feel free to send potential rentals to us and we'll let you know.
